Bada Bridge

Bada Bridge is a bridge near the Fasıllar route, locally also called the German Bridge.

Name and setting

The Konya experience guide identifies Bada Alman Köprüsü along the branch toward Fasıllar, away from the main Beyşehir–Seydişehir road. The name records a local association with German construction; the short guide does not establish an exact builder, year or engineering plan. These details need a separate archive or structural survey before they can be stated as fact.[1]

Bada should be distinguished from Taş Köprü at the lake outlet. The latter has a documented role in the Konya plain irrigation project, while Bada is represented here by a local place description.[1][2]

A regional crossing

Even with limited dating evidence, the bridge marks a route linking settlements and fields in the wider basin. Its inclusion reminds readers that regional heritage includes ordinary infrastructure as well as monumental court and religious sites.[1][3]
